Jared I. Gass
Jared joined his father in the practice of law in April, 2009. Since then he's had the opportunity to represent numerous clients in a variety of legal matters. His aggressive advocacy has proven invaluable for his clients. When most young attorneys are stuck doing research, Jared has been in the courtroom, on the front lines of both civil litigation and criminal proceedings.
Jared grew up in De Smet and attended SDSU from 1999-2004 where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering while also playing basketball for five years for the Jackrabbit Men's Basketball Team. After undergrad, Jared worked in Elk Point, SD as a civil engineer in training before going back to law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Jared and his family currently live in Brookings, and are happy to be back home in South Dakota; even during the winter. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and working out.
Jared works primarily out of our Brookings office but makes trips to both the De Smet and Arlington offices as needed.
